July 2nd – Power lines down on State Rt. 4 in Town of Greenwich
July 2nd – 2019 Awards Presentation.
Prior to our July 2 meeting an awards ceremony was conducted to distribute awards for 2019. Thank you to Mayor Carpenter and Supervisor Wood for attending and making presentations.
- SHC Ladies Auxiliary was honored for 50 years of service.
- Lt. Mark Wells received the Town of Saratoga Supervisors Award.
- Chief Myers, Lt. Mark Wells & FF Paul Chojnacki received Meritorious Awards.
- FF James Carr received the FF of the Year award.
- 14 Members received Attendance Awards recognizing members with over 200 hours.

July 2nd – Company Meeting.
Ryan Longacker’s application for membership was approved by company vote. Ryan is a village resident and student at Schuylerville High School. Letter addressed to the village board requesting his appointment as a Probationary Firefighter has been submitted for approval at the July 8 village meeting.
July 5th – EMS Assist on Green St. in the village.
July 6th – Detector activation on Maplewood Ct. in Town of Northumberland
July 7th – Training. Initial Company Operations in the village.
July 8th – Motor vehicle accident on King Rd. in Town of Northumberland
July 9th – Training. Vehicle Extrication in station.
July 11th – Stand by in Station for Gansevoort Fire Department
July 14th – Power line down on Burgoyne Rd. in Town of Saratoga
July 14th – Training. ER-571 at the village canal dry hydrant.
July 16th – Training. Turbo Draft at the village boat launch.
July 20th – Station 2 Committee Meeting
July 21st – Training. ER-571 in the village.
July 22nd – Fire alarm system activation on Broad St. in the village.
July 22nd – Water leak in residence on Church St. in the village.
July 23rd – Training. Water rescue on the Hudson River (Lock 5).
July 28th – Training. Initial Company Operations in the village.
July 28th – Board of Director’s Meeting.
July 28th – Assist Sheriff’s Dept. with clearing road debris on Rt. 4 & 32 in Town of Northumberland.
July 29th – Fire alarm system activation on Pearl St. in the village.
July 30th – Training. FAST in station.
