- The new outside alert siren and
system receiver installation has been completed and is in full service (1/8/08).
- All Scott SCBA's have passed flow
testing conducted by B-Lann Equipment (1/8/08).
- 4,600 feet of hose was tested
over two separate drill nights (11/15/07 & 11/29/07).
- Emergency lighting has been
installed in the storage room (11/13/07).
- New toolbox is in service on
ER-573 (11/6/07).
- New hydraulic bottle pump jacks
are in service on ER-572 (11/1/07).
- Two new 100' power cord reels w/
quartz light have been placed in service. One each on ER-572 & ER-573
(10/07).
- New cellular phones have been
installed in ER-572, ER-573 and both Command Vehicles (10/07).
- New wireless landline phones with
intercoms have been placed throughout the fire station (10/07).
- New 2007 Dodge Durango Command
Vehicle has been delivered. Additional work including radio installation
and lettering need to be completed before officially going in service (10/25/07)

- Bullard MobileLink
is in service
on ER-573. The MobileLink is a hand held receiver that allows the command
staff to view transmitted thermal imaging video. The MobileLink can view
video from either the T3 Max or TI Commander TIC's by just the switch of a
channel. (7/5/07)
- Two lengths of 5" LDH that
failed the annual hose test have been sent back to the manufacturer for
replacement. (6/07)
- A new TI Commander TIC is in
service on T-577. This camera replaces the original one that was lost by
Bullard at their factory. (6/07)
- New Partner K-950 cutoff saw is in
service on T-577. New 14" Tiger Tooth Blades have been installed on
all cut off saws. The Tiger Tooth blades are made of a mixture of diamond,
tunsten and carbide. The all purpose blades are new and uniquely designed
to cut any material found in the fire service. (6/7/07)
- 25 sets of 2001 & 2004 Morning
Pride used gear were inspected by Gary St.Mary from Elliot Enterprises.
Gear that failed inspection has been taken out of service until repairs can be

- 5000' of 5" LDH was tested to
NFPA 1962 standards by Safety First Fire Hose Testing. Three lengths
failed test and have been taken out of service for repair. (5/2/07)
- Apparatus has passed state safety
inspection (4/19/07 & 5/1/07)
- 2 new Honda Generators are in
service and will be stored in the Storage Room. (4/14/07)
- 3 new Defibtech AED's were placed
in service. AED's are now carried on ER-572 & ER-573. The third
defib is mounted in the fire station. (4/12/07)
- A new Amkus GH2S-XL Power Unit was
placed in service on ER-572. The new power unit can operate two power
tools simultaneously. This power unit replaced an older unit. (4/07)
- ER-572's rear left side
compartment has been re-organized. New tool boxes and Craftsman hand tools
have also been added, replacing older tools. (4/07)
- New Dry Chem & Carbon Dioxide
extinguishers are placed in service. (3/30/07).
- All ground ladders have been
tested per NFPA standards by Fire Service Safety and passed. (3/29/07)
- A new Kussmaul charging system has
been installed on ER-573 by Roberts in Rennselear. Several pump valves were also
replaced. (3/9/07)
- New cots, blankets and pillows
have been purchased by the company. The new sleeping equipment has been
placed in the upstairs closet. (3/07)
- New traffic cones are now on all
apparatus. A total of 50 new cones were purchased (1/29/07)
- T-577 repairs to the water way and
the alternator have been completed in house. (1/20/07)
- SCBA 1-3 back in service from
repairs at B-Lann. Originally sent out on 1/3/07. (1/19/07)
- 20 sets of new Morning Pride gear
is in and being distributed to interior structural firefighters and
officers. The gear purchase totaled $25,700 and is part of the five year
replacement and upgrade plan established by Chief Myers. (11/2/06)
- New LDH roller / tool has been
purchased and is in service. This tool will assist with draining, scene
transporting and loading LDH. (10/5/06)
- All Pre-connect attack hose lays
have been changed from flat loads to triple layer loads. (9/21/06)
- A new Vehicle Door Lock kit is in
service on ER-572 (7/13/06)
- Changes to T-577 response SOP:
Maximum crew will be four firefighters. For safety concerns the exposed
fold down crew seats will be removed. Seat belts will also be installed
for the two jump seats. (7/6/06).
- ER-572 is OOS for pump
repairs. (6/20/06) Back in service 6/23/06.
- 2 paks are OOS at B-Lann for
repair (1-1 & 1-4). Also 15 cylinders sent down for hydrostatic
testing. (6/14/06). Back in service 6/21/06.
- ETA-571 is OOS for pump repairs.

- New Paratech Air Bags, controller
and regulator are in service on ER-572. (6/1/06)
- New Stihl saws are in
service. Chainsaw is on 575, Rescue Chainsaw is on 577 & Cutoff Saw is
on 577. The Partner Cutoff Saw and Cutter's Edge Saw are now on
ER-573. The older Stihl Chainsaw w/ bullet chain and older Stihl Cutoff
saw are now on ER-572. (5/31/06)

- Scott RIT Pak is in service for

- The new Bullard T3 Max Plus
Thermal Imaging Camera has been installed in ER-573. The Bullard
TI Commander was removed from 573 and installed in T-577. (4/25/06)
- All ground ladders have passed
NFPA annual testing. New reflective tape has been added to the tips of the
extension ladders. (3/29/06)
- 2 paks are OOS at B-Lann for
repairs (3-4 & 570). Pak 57 has replaced 3-4 on ER-573. (3/28/06).
Paks returned to service on 3/30/06.
- 12 new Scott fifty SCBA's that
were delivered on 1/11/06 are now in service on ER-572, ER-573 and T-577.

- 12 Scott fifty SCBA's were
upgraded to NFPA 2002 standards, which includes heads up display and RIT hook
up. An additional 12 new paks meeting the same standards were also
delivered and will be put in service soon. All were purchased from the 2005
Assistance to Firefighters Grant. (1/11/06)
