Brandon Jarvis: SHC would like to welcome Brandon Jarvis to the company.  Brandon was accepted by the membership at the company meeting on August 6, 2008 and approved by the village board on August 19, 2008.  Brandon resides in the village and attends Schuylerville High School.  Welcome to the company!

Congratulations Rob & Danielle: Lt. Rob Decker and Danielle Dozois were married on Saturday July 5th at the Abundant Life church in Saratoga Springs.  The reception dinner followed at the Saratoga Springs Knights of Columbus.  Rob's best man was FF Matt Derway and groomsmen were FF's Marcus Lapitsky and Ray Carr.  Congratulations to Rob and Danielle.

Daniel Buell & Arkady Iskov: SHC would like to welcome two new members.  Dan Buell and Arkady Iskov were accepted by the membership at the company meeting held on July 3rd and approved by the village board on July 9th.  Dan resides in the Town of Saratoga and has previous firefighting experience.  Arkady lives in the village.  Welcome to the company!

Michael Zehl: Michael was accepted by the membership at the company meeting on June 5, 2008 and approved by the village board on June 11, 2008.  Michael resides in the Town of Northumberland.  Welcome to the company!

Colton Barber, Jonathan Devlin, Joe Magliulo II & Mark Wells: The membership accepted their applications at the monthly company meeting on May 1, 2008 and were officially approved by the village board on May 14, 2008.  All three reside in the Town of Saratoga and attend Schuylerville High School.  Welcome to the company!  Also, at the May 1 company meeting Associate Member Mark Wells submitted a request to return to active membership, which was approved by the membership.  Mark has over sixteen years of active service with the company.  Welcome back Mark!

Francis Murphy: has accepted the Fire Chief's position with the City of Cocoa, Florida starting on March 10th.  Fran started his firefighting career with Schuyler Hose in 1970 and recently retired as the Asst. Fire Chief of Saratoga Springs in August of 2006.  Congratulations Fran!

Todd Comtois: At company training on January 10, 2008 Chief Myers presented FF Todd Comtois with his badge in recognition of completing his probationary period.  FF Comtois has also recently completed the 86 hour Firefighter I course on December 15, 2007 and the 9 hour FF Survival course on November 24, 2007.  Congratulation to FF Comtois on his accomplishments.

Mike Barron: Effective January 3, 2008 FF Mike Barron has been appointed as Acting Captain by Chief Myers.  Acting Captain Barron will be covering for Captain Tom Benton while he is on Military Leave.  Mike has over thirty years service at SHC with several of those years as a line officer.

Tom Thomas: Tom has resigned from the company in good standing.  Tom was an active member for seven-teen years and has been an associate member since September 2001.  Best of luck to Tom and his family.

Rob Decker: Chief Brian Myers has appointed FF Rob Decker to the position of Lieutenant.  The appointment was made effective November 1, 2007 and will fill out the term vacated by the resignation of Dean Stine.  Lt. Decker has been an active member of Schuyler Hose since January 2, 2003.  Congratulation Rob.

Tim Lukas: At the company meeting of October 4, 2007 the membership approved the application of Tim Lukas.  Tim left the company in good standing back in March '07 due to being out of town for work.  Welcome back Tim!

Matt Derway: In December of 2006 Matt Derway was appointed to the Saratoga Springs Fire Department as a career firefighter.  Matt has spent the last 14 weeks at the Utica Fire Academy for his certification and graduated on March 14th.  Matt will be assigned to Group 2 with Capt. Robert Williams.

Jason Young: Jason graduated from BMT (Basic Military Training) at Lackland Air Force Base Texas on Feb. 16th.  He then was transfered to Sheppard AFB in Texas for his Technical Schooling phase one & two. Jason is studying to be a flight medic for c17 flying hospital and is anticipating a late May graduation.

Adam Myers: Adam has recently moved back to the village and has rejoined the company.  Adam was active from 1993 to 2003 and went to associate status until 2005.  Welcome back Adam!
