Victim Extrication Training. Capt. Rob Decker and Lt. Adam Myers
have successfully completed the 16 hour AVET Course which provides
hands-on training in motor vehicle rescue and extrication techniques
while stressing the need for scene safety and vehicle stabilization. It
includes rescue theory, rescue life cycle, new technology in automotive
design and rescue tools and their uses. The course was instructed
by SFI David Hatin and hosted by the Bay Ridge Fire Company (Warren
County).

County Fair Stand By - Engine crew on ER-573 stood by at the county
fair.

Company Operations Course. Capt. Scott Maguire, FF Nik Luhmann and
FF Mike Zehl have successfully completed the 24 hour TCO Course.
This course provides instruction for using ladder company equipment
including operating ground ladders. Includes duties and responsibilities
of the ladder company, operating and maintaining specialized tools,
ventilation, forcible entry, search, and building. The course was
instructed by SFI Brian Myers and hosted by the Maple Ave. & Wilton
Fire Departments.
