ER-573
ER-573’s
primary function is as a first due Engine Company conducting fire
suppression operations. ER-573
is also equipped to respond as a FAST engine when requested for
mutual aid assistance. This
engine replaced the 1967 Maxim city service truck and 1986 GMC
Marion rescue truck.
ER-573
is a 2003 E-One custom fire engine with seating for up to eight
firefighters.
It is powered by a 350 hp Cummins engine and Allison
automatic transmission.
It is equipped with a 1250 gpm Hale single stage pump and a
1000 gallon poly water tank.
