January 1 - 09:00 Members attended the 13th anniversary mass for FF Brian D. Myers, Sr. at the Notre-Dame Visitation Church in the village.

January 5 - 08:04 Responded to 28 Cramer Path, t/o Northumberland for an odor of smoke in the residence.  Good Intent.

January 5 - 09:00 B-Lann in station to conduct NFPA posi-flow testing on SCBA's.

January 5 - 18:00 Firehouse Work Detail

January 7 - 15:28 Responded to 296 Lindsy Rd., t/o Northumberland duel response with Gansevoort (line call) for an animal rescue.  Call was in Gansevoort fire district, ER-572 assisted on scene.

January 7 - 16:52 Responded to 82 Church St. to assist a resident locked out her apartment.

January 7 - 19:30 Company Meeting.  Monthly SCBA Inspections.

January 8 - Congratulations to Lt. Matt Derway and his wife Jenn!   Lucas Samuel Derway was born today in Albany Medical Center.  He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.

January 9 - 15:05 Responded to 1292 S/R 9P for a mutual aid request from Quaker Springs for one tanker to the scene of a working structure fire.  Chiefs 57 & 579 and TA-574 responded.  Units cleared the scene at 16:34.  Company remained on stand by in station until 18:46.

January 9 - 17:30 ER-573 relocated to Gansevoort station for a pre-arranged cover assignment during their company banquet.

January 11 - 07:23 Responded to 17 Green St. in the village for a reported smoke detector activation in a vacant structure.  Found broken water pipe and a faulty detector.

January 12 - 18:00 Annual Physicals and Mask Fit Testing

January 14 - 09:27 Responded to Schuylerville High School on Spring St. in the village for a fire alarm activation.  Accidental from construction.

January 14 - 19:00 Annual Respiratory Protection Policy & SCBA Training in Station (Chief Myers)

January 18 - 04:00 Responded to 1046 S/R 29, t/o Saratoga for a CO detector activation with no illness.  Found faulty smoke detector.

January 19 - 08:20 Responded to intersection of S/R 29 and Beaver St., t/o Saratoga duel response with Quaker Springs (line call) for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.  Assisted EMS on the scene.  Call was on Quaker Springs side of the road.

January 19 - 19:00 Pump Training at Grangerville (Lt. Decker)

January 20 - Paks 2-2, 2-4 & 3-5 OOS taken to B-Lann for repairs.

January 20 - 16:30 Responded to 142 Degarmo Rd., t/o Saratoga for a reported structure fire.  Found boiler malfunction.

January 21 - 19:00 Pre-Plans / Box Alarm / Response SOP Training in station (Chief Myers)

January 23 - FF Dan Buell completed the NYS Truck Company Operations Course.  This 24 hour course provides instruction for using ladder company equipment including operating ground ladders. Includes duties and responsibilities of the ladder company, operating and maintaining specialized tools, ventilation, forcible entry, search, and building construction.  The course was hosted by the Middle Falls Fire Dept. and instructed by SFI Corey Hopkins.
